Nope. Our chargers accept credit cards as well as mobile wallet payment (apple, andriod) with no mobile application required. Just scan the QR code above the desired connector to get started. Follow the prompts and provide payment method using the your phone’s web browser and tap start charging to begin the session.

We offer standard $0.42/kWh energy pricing for using our DC Fast Charging stations with an additional session start fee of $0.99 per session.

Preauthorization is not a charge, but rather a method of holding funds to ensure a payment method is valid, most commonly used when the final amount is undetermined, such as with hotels, gas stations, and in this case: EV chargers. These funds are not transferred anywhere, and instead are reserved until the session has finished. Usually, if your session finishes and the total is less than the preauthorization amount, the hold will be replaced- releasing the remainder of the funds.
